The water-jet tail cutting system is an automated high-pressure system installed after the dryer section / calender, used for automatic tail cutting and threading after sheet breaks. The system offers single and dual nozzle configurations; the nozzle traverses laterally, driven by a servo system, with precisely settable tail feeding trajectories (V-shape / diagonal) and tail width. Combined with on-line control, it achieves fast and reliable automatic tail feeding, dramatically shortening recovery time after sheet breaks.
