The Tecno-Clean W wet-end cleaning system is a medium-pressure water-jet continuous cleaning system designed specifically for wet-end forming fabrics and press felts. A unique nozzle arrangement uses high-pressure water to remove contaminants directly from the fabric; interlocked with the paper machine, it cleans the full width evenly — no overlaps, no missed areas. Compared with conventional oscillating shower cleaning, it cleans more thoroughly, uses far less water and produces no mist spray, significantly improving the machine hall environment and reducing energy consumption while maintaining fabric permeability and reducing breaks and sheet defects.

Nozzle bore size and arrangement are selected according to paper grade and machine speed; rotary cleaning heads are also available for even more thorough fabric cleaning.
The top wire former is equipped with vacuum extraction that carries away mist and loosened contaminants, preventing re-contamination of the fabric.
Cleaning pressure is adjustable on the HMI to suit different paper grades and fabric conditions.
Each cleaning head uses only about 7.5 L/min (depending on paper grade, machine speed and fabric width).
The cleaning head features an integrated flushing station that automatically cleans and brushes the nozzles after each traverse.
Significantly reduces wet-end mist and fiber build-up, improving machine hall environment and operational safety.

The felt cleaning beam spans the full felt width for on-line cleaning: no machine stops, no disassembly — nozzles travel with the beam to clean the felt continuously or locally at designated spots, and the felt goes straight back into service. Nozzle change-over and flushing time is dramatically reduced.
